Lawn Rennovation
Sometimes, it is better to start from scratch with a lawn and undergo a complete renovation. At Lawn Complete we would only advise of this option if we feel that there is no alternative. COMPLETELY REVITALISE YOUR LAwn
Whether it’s antique or new, traditional or modern, cThrough initial scarification we remove all the unhealthy grass, moss and thatch. We then drop spread your new seed and professionally top dress with the finest 70/30 topdressing on the market. This keeps the birds from the seed and helps establish a strong germination. Your developing lawn will need to be regularly watered and you can expect to see a healthy, lush new lawn within 3–5 weeks.
Annual Treatment Programme
From April through to May we apply a high nitrogen granulated fertiliser and translocated herbicide to promote growth, strength and colour. This process is also designed to kill off common weeds.
Between June and July we apply a granular feed designed to maintain your lawn’s strength and colour. This is followed by a secondary application of herbicide to conquer the more difficult weed types. We also apply a wetting agent allowing the soil to conserve water. This improves the root system and reduces the risk of dry patch in the summer months.
ALL YEAR ROUND
In Autumn, we apply an iron sulphate spray. This kills off moss and provides the lawn with the nutrition it needs in the difficult autumn and wintery months ahead.
Between October and March, your lawn can often require the most care. We utilise the suitable machinery so that your lawn can undergo the process of Hollow-Tine Aeration. This relieves lawn compaction and improves drainage. This is followed by scarification, the process of cutting down into the lawn to further remove moss and thatch, giving your lawns grass swards a chance to thicken. Finally, an additional winter fertiliser is applied to promote growth.
